this is just main stuff you would need. you can have aditional troops other than what is mentioned. but this is the main of what each kind of village you would need. And also note that this was originalys made on w21 so it will not include archers or mounted archers, but use common sense. by the sense of this then you would no the general idea of how many archers and mounted archers you would need. Offence Village 500* Axes 125* LC 100* Scouts 300* Rams 100* Cats 750* Swords 750* Spears * = Or more The scouts, rams, cats, spears and swords you should definitely have for scouting, destroying, defending (blah blah blah) so the rest should either be Axes or LC for offense, A good ratio is 500 Axe : 125 LC which is 1000 food (4 Axes : 1 LC), because it is used in easy amounts...But you should have around 3500-5000 food for your buildings leaving you with 19000-20500 food -4000 because of other stuff, leaving you with 15000-16500 food for axes and lc...so you could have up to 16 and a half groups of the set-up I use...(8000 Axes and 2000 LC) If you need more defence you could always take away a group or two. Defence Village 175* Spears 175* Swords 30* HC (optional) 100* Scouts 700* Axes 150* LC * = or more Once again, the scouts, axes and lc are stuff that you should have just in case, if you want a good support base, you should have more HC, otherwise, mass Spears and Swords...Again 4000-6000 food should be for your base, -1500 from the other units leaving you with 15500-17500 food for units, your groups should be 500 food each. You could have 0-25 groups of HC at once, you could change it, but too many HC is screwed up...This way you could have __ groups (too many variables, I'm lazy) As always if you want more of other stuff, take out some groups... All-Out Village 15000* Axes 600* Rams * = or more This village is only useful if you have multiple of them, two of these villages (though they cost alot!) could completely destroy another village leaving another of your villages to noble them, plus it has 6000 food for other jobs! However, if you made a village like this, you would most likely need a defensive base really or moderately close to this base because it lacks defence, you also need scouts... If you think it would take too much time, you could change some of the axes in lc, but this way you only have problems with swords and not so much spears... There are 600 Rams, which seem dumb, (only 300 are needed to take down a level 20 wall) but they are used so that even if your units are outnubmered in some way, you can still take down the wall, which a second force could easily dispatch... This build isn't really flexible... but you can do whatever changes are acceptable. SCENARIO NOTE: the numbers go in sequence: spears, swords, axes, scouts, lc, hc, rams, cats, then nobles. Attacker Units: 0 0 15000 0 0 0 1000 0 0 Losses: 0 0 15000 0 0 0 1000 0 0 Defender Units: 8000 8000 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 Losses: 5772 5772 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 Damage by rams: The wall has been damaged and downgraded from level 20 to level 0 This scenario is very unrealistic, but it does show how strong one of these groups are, against 16000 defensive units, 15000 offensive units and 1000 siege units could kill around 11544 units, even with a level 20 wall, which is then totally destroyed... The enemy would likely get wiped out on the second wave. My advice, don't do this until way after you started... Versatile Village 2000* HC 100* Scouts or more 1000? LC or so 1900? Spears or so 1900? Swords or so ? = Choice * = or more This base is best used for guerilla tactics as HC are faster than normal foot soldiers, which make up for their stats. You can easily support with this village and easily attack. The LC are your extra power, if you need it, its also good for farming too. The spears and swords are if you need defence while your main army is gone. If you do it this way, you will have 4000 food for buildings. Also, you can still take out some things for more HC. Scouting Village 3500? Spears 3500? Swords 3500? Axes 1000* LC 500* HC 1500* Scouts ? = Choice * = or more Personally, people find a scouting village quite useless (myself included), but when you see this, I think it could change your mind (probably not)... This village is, however, still useful. It is very balanced into offence, defence, support and scouting, while not good at all of them, it would be a nice first base village. You even have a good 3500 food to do your buildings. It still works really well if you twist stuff around, like if you want siege or something. Siege Village 300* Cats 300* Rams 250* Scouts 1000* Spears 1000* Swords 7600* Axes 1500* LC * = or more If you really hate someone, and really want to kill them, use this...You don't have to noble them, just destroy them utterly then send a bunch of lc every day to mop him up =D. If you do decide to use this, it will be hard to do much else other than siege. With this build, you also have 4000 left over food for buildings and other. Noble Train Village 3* Noblemen 500* Spears 500* Swords 9000* Axes 2000* LC 300* Rams 100* Scouts * = or more Most of my other villages are not made for nobling, this one is, to make a noble train, you need atleast 2 villages, so don't bother with this if you don't have atleast 2 and maybe a scouting village and/or siege village. If you do decide on doing this, my suggestion is...hope to god you don't get attacked unless you already have a versatile village. Other than that, just clear them with a different village (an all out village would be nice) and send like 2500 Axes and 600 LC (rams and scouts if you want) with each noble. Your enemy should be dead by then...This way you still have 4000 food =D too! This base doesn't need scouts that much because you'll need other villages for that, this one should have a low notoriaty The 1:1 Defensive Ratio Basically, it means that you get one defensive soldier for every pointh that you have The 1:1 ratio doesn't always work though, its a good rule for your first village, but if you want a village that isn't pure defence, you can't have 1:1 ratio (this is what will happen, 10000 pts = 5000 spears and 5000 swords, 4000 food for buildings, leftover food = 10000 food). Just to tell you, 10 000 food is not a lot, if you really needed defence, you could make a defensive village... Maximum Capacity For a maxed out village you will need 4208 food, leaving you with a good 19792 food... while for the most part this is alot, some villages have different purposes, for instance, why would you get a workshop for a village that doesn't use siege? Theres no reason why you should, instead you could use the extra food for something else like a better building or more units. If your going to get maximum capacity for your village strength, think about whether or not you need a specific building. Fortress/Stronghold Village 10000 Spears 10000 Swords This is basically the exact opposite of the All-Out Village, pure offense vs pure defence. With this setup, you will have 4000 left over food for villages, the problem is, if this army ever dies out, its going to take months to rebuild. But since you don't need a stable or workshop, thats 200 food that could go to a worthy cause like your market or something. Statistics: 10000 Spears = 500000W, 300000C, 100000I 10000 Swords = 300000W, 300000C, 700000I W = Wood C = Clay I = Iron As far as I know, it takes around 166 hours and 35 or so minutes to max out a warhouse so it would take around 14 days to get the resources for this...Time wise: 10000 Spears: 18.40 Days 10000 Swords: 26.96 Days 45.36 days to make this with a maxed barracks, good luck Farming Village 4000* LC 3800* Spears 100* Scouts * = or more Because LC have the best carrying capacity, they should be used for farming, obviously. Because spears are good for defence and have a pretty good carrying capacity, they will also be used to farm. With this set-up, you will have 4000 food for buildings. The problem with this build are axes, axes will destroy this base so you might want a good support base near this one.
